Driven by Duke Dinsmore, this Schoof's Special finished tenth in the 1947 Indianapolis 500. It has been restored by Lee Duran. (A personal note from rumbledrome.com's caretaker: the first race car I ever encountered up close, when it was on display at the Northwestern Ford showroom in Milwaukee around 1949.)
