The cutline on this newspaper clipping reads: "Tommy Milton, veteran auto racing driver, won the 250-mile race at the Culver City track in California, averaging 126 miles an hour for the distance, breaking all records for board track racing. This picture shows Milton in the lead, with three other cars seemingly in close (unclear), but he had already lapped them three times." The race was on March 1, 1925.
